Types of Lights

At High Altitude Holiday Lighting we only use commercial grade C9 lighting. We purchase all of our lights and materials from Novelty Lights in Centennial, CO. We can either install Incandescent or LED C9 lights. Below are the pros and cons of each type of lighting.

Incandescent C9 Bulbs

Pros:

  • We can create any color combination you like!
  • The brightest light that we install!
  • Each bulb is individually clipped; this creates a professional looking Christmas light display.
  • We will custom fit C9 bulbs to fit your house; this means no excess lighting and a clean, crisp look!
  • Lowest cost C9 lighting.

Cons:

  • Bulbs have a shorter life span and will burn out.
  • Higher running cost – each bulb is 7 watts.

LED C9 Bulbs

LED C9 Bulbs
Warm White, Pure White, Red, Green, Blue, Orange, Yellow, and Purple

Pros:

  • Extremely low running cost
  • We can create any color combination you like!
  • Brighter than C9 LED stringer sets.
  • Longest bulb life of any lighting.
  • Each bulb is individually clipped; this creates a professional looking Christmas light display.
  • We will custom fit C9 bulbs to fit your house; this means no excess lighting and a clean, crisp look!

Cons:

  • The only downside to these lights is that each bulb cost around $1.30
